As such, Crowder is always looking for experienced candidates for the following positions:

Machinists:  
Responsibilities include operating all types of machine tools involving close tolerance work, intricate setups and development. Must be able to perform machining operations such as field machine work, blue print reading, welding, surface grinding, horizontal boring mill. Must be proficient with 3-dimensional horizontal boring mills including math skills. Use of balancing equipment a plus.

Winders:  
Responsibilities include coil winding, insertion work, connections and fabrication on a wide variety of customer equipment. Must be able to rewind customer equipment using mush coils. Must be able to analyze equipment, take data, strip coils, clean units, set up samples to determine precise fit, fabricate forms, insulate and insert forms and test windings.

Industrial Motor Mechanics:  
Responsibilities include diagnostic testing and electro mechanical work on a wide range of customer equipment including AC and DC motors, hand hoists, electric hoist, air compressors, pumps, welding equipment, battery chargers, gear reducers, variable speed drives, eddy current clutches, mechanical brakes, etc. This candidate must perform quality work while maintaining production standards.

Field Service Technicians:
Responsibilities include troubleshooting customer equipment in the field, performing necessary tests and repairs on site. This candidate must be proficient in servicing magnetic starters and related controls (electrical & electronic) on industrial equipment, AC & DC motors, synchronous motors, overhead cranes, hoists, air compressors, emergency lighting, power plants, gear reducers, variable speed drives, eddy current clutches, mechanical clutches, electrical and mechanical brakes, fans, blowers and a variety of similar equipment.

Electronic Technicians:
Responsibilities include analyzing, testing, calibrating, repairing and modifying electronic equipment in the lab and/or field. This candidate must be able to service industrial controls, solid state controls, digital controls, DC controllers, variable voltage-variable frequency controllers, power inverters, micro-processors, programmable controllers, electronic welders and battery chargers, instrumentation, AC & DC motors/clutches/brakes, relay logic, power panels, protective relays, medium voltage circuit breakers and switchgear.

In order to accommodate our customers emergencies and as a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week service center, our candidates must be willing to work a fair amount of overtime for call out emergencies.
